What Makes Us Different
Music lessons are often seen as a mere pastime for youngsters. Here at Stage Talent we go far beyond that.
Our tuition provides children with character-forming skills such as, listening, planning, self-discipline, self-reliance, teamwork and confidence.
Our academy is led by Mariela Cingo, a renowned classical pianist who has graced prestigious stages worldwide and won multiple awards.
Alongside her, we boast a team of not only accomplished musicians but also best-selling authors like Tomorr Kokona, who's expertise spans the world of art and business.
We provide long-term programs designed to nurture children from all backgrounds including those with special needs. (SEND)
About Stage Talent
We aim to bring the highest standard of music tuitions and positively impact the lives of every child in our academy.
Our vision and lifelong goal is to spread our philosophy and Stage Talent teacher training programmes to children and teachers worldwide.
Our story began with a simple desire – to create a vibrant performing arts haven for the founders, Mariela and Tomorr's, own children. We envisioned a space where youngsters could revel in the joy of drama, dance, and musical instrument learning, all under one roof.
Fifteen years on, our impact extends far beyond it's initial spark. We have had the privilege of enriching the lives of thousands of children and nurture a lifelong love for the performing arts.
Why Stage Talent?
- We are among the only music schools that provide a full assessment for your child prior to joining our academy, followed by a report delivered directly to you. This is a needed preparatory step for our teachers to tailor lesson plans to your child’s talents and needs.
2. After each lesson, you will receive lesson notes directly in your inbox describing what was covered and what we suggest for your child to practice during the week.
3. Lessons occur during school hours if your child is studying in one of our partner schools, saving you the time and effort of dropping them in.
4. Our teachers are not just freelancers. To help your child grow musically and as a person, we select only the most professional and experienced teachers and continuously train them in the latest teaching methods and children wellbeing.
Music Lessons For Children in West London
From Compass Theatre, Online or During School Hours
The academy offers a hybrid of live and online music tuition, taking children on a journey from primary school through to university.
Our in-person music lessons take place at Compass Theatre in Ickenham during weekdays and the weekend after school hours or during school hours in your child’s school premises.
The children can learn the piano, guitar, violin, drums, singing and other instruments. We encourage our students to participate in practical and theory exams conducted by internationally recognised examination bodies such as ABRSM, Trinity, and others.
Unlike other academies, each lesson is followed by lesson notes that help you assist your child during their practice and assess their progress. Whether you are a musician or not, we except you to be a supporter and cheerleader for your child.
With the support of Arts Council England and other organizations, our proven track record of nurturing talent, fostering creativity, and achieving exceptional results has made Stage Talent a trusted and reliable partner in enriching children’s wellbeing and building their confidence to strive for excellence.
“In music lessons our children are given the opportunity to be creative and have fun. With less obvious control the children have learnt how to self regulate themselves in terms of behaviour and this has been a wonderful benefit of Mariella’s approach to teaching for the whole school. She is irreplaceable.”
Peter Doherty
“Thank you, we are so impressed with Sophie she is really coming on with her playing and confidence. She has been playing more for fun since lockdown which is lovely to hear”
Parent
“Since you started the ‘Morning creative energiser’, I have seen enormous improvement in school attendance, discipline and overall attitude. I see pupils excited early in the morning lining up to get into the school so they wouldn’t miss their spot. This was unseen before”
